Another batch of scanning from Mary Lennon - Wedgwood
Another set with which mentions places with which I have some prior familiarity.
While Wedgwood is a rare surname, albeit well known, there are surprisingly few on the 1901 and 1911 Irish census and only one family grouping to speak of. The family is of English origins but they have clearly resided in both Dublin and Belfast.
Macauley, Horatius, Stanza 36
"Horatius" is a poem by Thomas (Lord) Macaulay. What does stanza 36 say ?
The sender- likely one of the Wedgwood brothers pictured - knew his poetry!
This is in Dun Laoghaire (formerly Kingston).
1 Crosthwaite Terrace, Ffolliott sisters, Boarding & Day-school for Young Ladies
